Trevecca Okholm (USA)
Trevecca Okholm (Wheaton Graduate School, MA; Certified Christian Educator, PCUSA) began professional life as children and family pastor for 25 years before moving into academics, most recently teaching practical theology at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. Her passion for ministry and in teaching has always been how to more effectively connect generations in the church. Her first book, Kingdom Family: Re-Envisioning God’s Plan for Marriage and Family (Cascade, 2012), was written to encourage and equip married couples and parents on practical ways to live into a Kingdom of God focused marriage and family life. In her newest book, The Grandparenting Effect: Bridging Generations One Story at a Time, Trevecca speaks into the lives of those blessed to influence grandchildren, be they biological, adopted, or faith grandchildren inside the church and out.
